Growing up in Athens, Greece, life experiences eventually paved the way for big dreams as Dimitris found clarity in viewing the world through the lens of a camera.

Dimitris has been shooting professionally for over 10 years. A friendship with a fellow photographer sparked his desire and fueled his passion for the pursuit of a career in photography. Four years later he graduated from Leica Academy. He learned from the ground-up; shooting photographs, and developing and printing the film in a darkroom. He quickly became hooked and started shooting for lifestyle magazines. A couple of years later he became a car photographer at major car magazines, making one of his career dreams become a reality. For almost 4 years he covered all major European Auto Shows and Press Presentations of many new models.

For a number of years Dimitris has been shooting weddings and other social events with great success. From the very beginning, he approached photographing events from a photojournalistic documentary point of view, capturing emotions and bringing still to life.

Moving to New York in 2007, his passion for photography grew even more while he was discovering new challenges. He enjoys working with clients while conveying his excitement and passion. His skillful use of lighting ensures that his clients receive the quality from a true professional.
